What is Copy Trading?
Copy Trading is a portfolio management tool that allows traders to copy trades executed by expert investors in the markets.
Which trading pairs are supported by Copy Trading?
Currently, Bybit supports 14 trading pairs: BTCUSDT, ETHUSDT, BITUSDT, XRPUSDT, ADAUSDT, SOLUSDT, MATICUSDT, SANDUSDT, NEARUSDT, ATOMUSDT, FTMUSDT, LINKUSDT, AVAXUSDT and AXSUSDT.
Which account do I use for Copy Trading on Bybit?
Copy Trading will be channeled directly through your Copy Trading Account. You can transfer assets from your Derivatives Account to your Copy Trading Account to start trading.
What are the fees associated with a copy trade?
The trading fee and funding fee are the same as the rates incurred when you trade on Bybit's Derivatives platform. No extra fees will be charged.
How profit sharing for Copy Trading works on Bybit
Principal traders will get a 10% share of the net profit earned by each of their followers.

What tokens does Bybit support for Copy Trading?
Currently, only USDT is supported.
Are there any KYC requirements for Copy Trading?
Currently, there are no KYC requirements for followers. However, KYC Level 1 and Level 2 are
required to qualify as a principal trader.

— The open interest mentioned above refers to the total number of derivatives contracts for the corresponding trading pair that have not been settled on Bybit.
— The maximum copy trade quota for each trading pair is the sum of the open interest of the principal trader and all of his followers.
— After the principal trader opens a new copy trade and reaches the maximum quota, his followers can't copy the trades, and the principal trader is unable to continue to initiate copy trades.
Is there a limit to the order quantity of each copy trade initiated by the principal trader?
Yes. Minimum or maximum order quantity limits are the same as for derivatives trading pairs. You can view the details of different derivatives trading pairs here.

How do followers adjust Copy Trading parameters?
Please head to the Copy Trading page, then click on Edit in the upper right corner of the principal trader you follow to edit your parameters.
Note: You are not allowed to adjust leverage while holding positions in your Copy Trading Account. For more information, please refer to How to Get Started Copy Trading on Bybit (Followers).
What are some of the reasons that followers fail to follow principal traders successfully?
Here are a few of the common reasons:
- The maximum number of followers allowed by a principal trader has been reached.
- The principal trader you’ve selected has been removed.
- Followers do not have any funds in their Copy Trading Account.
What are some of the reasons that followers are unable to create copy trades?
If followers aren’t able to create a copy trade, it could be for one of several reasons:
- The follower’s Copy Trading Account has insufficient funds.
- The maximum copy trades quota of the principal trader has been reached.
- The market price of the copy trade order has exceeded 0.5% of the entry price of the trade initiated by the principal trader.
