Bybit continuously monitors all listed trading pairs and carefully appriase their listing qualifications to provide our users with the best possible Bybit trading experience. If a trading pair no longer meets Bybit's stringent listing requirements, it will be delisted.
With effect from 13 May 00:00 UTC:
In light of recent market volatility, Bybit has implemented the following mechanism to protect our traders from unforeseen price fluctuations.
- When the index price of any derivative contract reaches fifty times (50x) the minimum price precision (Tick Size), the derivative contract can only reduce positions via reduce-only orders, or to cancel orders entirely.
-
When the index price of any derivative contract falls below ten times (10x) the minimum price precision (Tick Size), we reserve the right to delist the contract in question without notice.
Traders may refer to the contract details page for information on the tick sizes for our various derivative contracts on the platform here.
For example, taking into reference ADAUSDT Perpetual contract's tick size of 0.0001:
Derivatives Contract | Tick Size | Reduce-only orders (50x) | Delisting Trigger (10x) | Resume Normal Trading Conditions (100x) |
ADAUSDT | 0.0001 | 0.005 | 0.001 | 0.01 |
In the event the index price of the derivative contract in question moves back to 100x the minimum price precision (Tick Size) and stays above the price level for at least 30 minutes, Bybit reserves the right to review the market conditions and resume normal trading without notice.
In consideration of potentially extreme market risks, Bybit also reserves the right to delist any derivative contracts at any price level with prior announcement.
